Fab Fabric Face Masks!

We have been busy with some new ideas! We are creating some earrings using Bambambu original prints and super lightweight plywood. They are one way we try to reduce waste to as little as possible while making something useful and fun!

In light of the Coronavirus we have also come up with a way to use our prints to create the coolest, reusable face masks around! We have a childrens' size and an adult version. They are made from 100% cotton original Bambambu prints with a reverse side in a plain colours, to make it easy to remember which side is the outside.

They are washable, breathable, lightweight with a pocket for optional PM2.5 Activated Carbon Filter inserts.

'A study of homemade face masks by SmartAirFilters.com found that cotton T-shirts and cotton pillowcases are the best at-home materials for making DIY face masks, based on their ability to capture particles yet remain breathable, and that they perform comparably to surgical-grade masks.

The WHO reminds us that masks are only effective when they’re used in combination with frequent and proper hand-washing. And if you do wear a mask, you must know how to use it and dispose of it properly.

And of course, follow all of your local protocols and avoid leaving the house unless it’s absolutely necessary.'( www.huffingtonpost.com.au)

Well that's it for a bit!
